Elycia's Cream...

So for those who didn't know already, Elycia has eczema. We took her to a dermatologist when she was six months old. The dermatologist prescribed her a new ointment that is non steroid for her face and suggested I try Cerave cleanser and moisturizer for her wash and lotion. So we bought the Cerave and it works great!!! As far as the Protopic, which was her script, we are just NOW getting due to her insurance. They didn't want cover it. With out her insurance it would cost us over $400.00!! So after almost two months of arguing with the pharmacy to do their jobs we finally got the insurance company to cover it. With the exception of only filling a third of the script. But at least she has got it now. And as far as we can tell it is doing its job. Elycia goes back to the dermatologist this coming Thursday. Hopefully it will be good news. I think now we have it under control.

Father's Day

Today is Father's Day. Elycia got her daddy a card and for her signature we put her hand prints in it. We are having a wonderful day. All is well, every one in jour household is feeling well. We hope that everyone else's health is in good condition. We hope you all have a wonderful Father's Day from our family to yours.

June 15, 2009

Well this morning when Elycia woke up she was fussing. So I went to check her gums, and oh my goodness she has teeth!!! Yes our little girl has two tiny teeth. The poor thing has been trying to cut them for about five months now. We are very excited about how much our little girl is getting. Beside Elycia's teething and her running a slight temp, Ben has been running fever. Now I am starting to feel lousy myself. Other then that we are all still doing good.

As of now....

Okay.. So as of now Elycia is seven and a half months old. She is getting bigger by the day. She is now trying to crawl. Yea Elycia!! She is teething. As everyone knows, she has eczema. We so far have it under control. She is a very happy and loving little girl. We couldnt have asked for a better baby. As far as Ben and I go. Ben is starting to get more serious with his music. He will soon be playing a gig or two at some bars with some friends. We are just trying to get by with todays economy. Living day by day. And enjoying everyday God blesses us with.
